Pancake Treat

Fluffy cakes on the griddle hot,
A breakfast treat that hits the spot,
With butter and syrup, a decadent affair,
A stack of pancakes, without a care.

Blueberry, chocolate chip, banana nut,
Each one we try, we can’t get enough,
A perfect start to a lazy day,
Pancakes, you always have a way.

Served up tall in stacks of three,
It’s a sweet and savoury recipe.
Add some bacon or a side of ham,
And you’ve got yourself a breakfast grand slam.

So here’s to pancakes, a breakfast treat,
A tasty indulgence can’t be beat!
Even if I eat too much, it’s worth the pain,
For a morning of pancakes, I’ll do it again and again.
