Visiting the Cedar Creek Gardens: Fall Family Activities in Regina

September is here again, and you know what that means. Fall is almost here! Pumpkin Pumpkin, Pumpkin peeping behind boxes. With fall comes a slew of fun activities; as a mother of two boys, I am always up for an adventure with my boys as the weekend rolls in. One of our favourites is visiting the Cedar Creek Gardens. It’s located in Langham, Saskatchewan, and it’s one of our first stops once September comes along. The best part is that it’s appropriate for all ages, so all can enjoy the twist and the mild fear of where the exit is!!! If you’re looking for something fun to do this fall, be sure to check out Cedar Creek Gardens!

This was our first stop for the labour day long weekend. Walking between the corn paths filled with dead ends and off-the-path tricks luring you the wrong way, crawling grasshoppers and crickets that my sons were extremely scared off (obviously, we needed to do some more camping), but it was a perfect way to spend some family time outdoors. It’s amazing how something so simple as finding your way through a corn maze can be great fun!

At the Cedar Creek Gardens, the temptation of their outdoor mini golf and petting zone is always a draw, we stayed focused and picked the new and improved Jurassic Maze. The ever-delightful hostess explained the changes we should expect as we ventured out. Holding the Clue Cards, we began our mission into the unknown, delighted at the first symbol we identified right at the entrance. We started confidently, but it didn’t take long for us to get turned around searching for hints as we walked. We didn’t find our way out of the maze until well over an hour passed; while we got our 10,000 steps in, we stumbled out to the Sector 3 exit laughing and reviewing our sheet, still missing many clues. We all had a great time and recommend it to anyone looking for fall weekend plans. If you are in Saskatchewan during the fall, check out https://cedarcreekgardens.ca You won’t be disappointed.
